However, they have PHOTOS on the restaurants as well as phone numbers.

Normally we do not book tables here (unless important that you do get a certain table at a certain restaurant for 2< people), but since there will be the music festival and also the Drupal-lot-of-us, it is totally unpredictable how full the restaurants will be at dinner-time.

Here comes my personal favourites:

For Hungarian food go for
-Vendéglő a régi hídhoz (Szeged, Oskola utca 4., +36.62/420-910 (rather book, very popular!), 15 mins walking from venue)
-Kiskőrősy halászcsárda (out of city a bit, see http://www.kiskorossy.pincer.hu/ , Mon-Sun 11-24, Tel +36.62/495-698, here is best&fresh fish-food!)
-Gőry Pince (www.gory.hu, Szeged, Liszt utca 9., +36.62/422-157 (rather book!), not the official gulyás and pörkölt and stuff, but you will definitely say that this is Hungarian food, and besides huge portions and excellent quality&variety, wonderful garden-restaurant)

Gringo's Cantina (www.gringos.hu, Szeged, Petofi sgt. 81., Mon-Sun 11-24, Tel. +36.62/445-174, something Mexicanish, but generally good and lot of and a bit spicy food) is always a good choice, about 20 mins slow straight walking from venue. About 50-70 people fit in, but they have take-away as well.

Good and healthy lunch in centre:

Also real good food, mostly indian spices, generally creative and surprisingly good.

Best pizza:
Don Quijote Pizzeria, Szeged, Vitéz utca 4., +36.62/422-366, Mon-Frid. 10-22. Also salad bar, take-away or order pizza,
this is 5 mins from the venue!

Big, honest and definitely fresh hamburgers:
Hamm-burger Büfé, Szeged, Oskola utca 18., Mon-Sat 7-22.30. Eat there or take-away, but no delivery services. 10 mins walking from venue.

And an I am hungry and I am not hungry, let's eat salad, salty, little but really good and tasty:
Chilli Grill (Szeged, Nagy Jenő utca 4., Mexicanish, good stuff, lots and lots of salads, chilli con carne, bit of Turkish food), very city centre, about 20 mins walking from Szeged
