Ms. Giovanni has over fifteen years of exceptional, professional Information Security/Assurance, Enterprise Risk Management, Forensics, Incident Response and E-Discovery consulting experiences in Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP/ PDD-63), National Security Policy Analysis, Managed Security Services, Identity Management, Physical Security, Operations Security (OPSEC), Threat and Vulnerability Assessment and Analysis, and CIRT/ Red Teaming Efforts. Ms. Giovanni’s experiences in the commercial, international, civilian, defense and federal marketplaces have provided her with a comprehensive information security skill set, making her a well respected and sought after security professional.
Previously, Ms. Giovanni was the National Practice Leader – Siemens, North America, Information Security, Ms. Giovanni demonstrated her depth and breadth of information security and technical expertise across a wide range of security activities and practices. Ms. Giovanni provided cross-functional leadership of security operations and management activities, including vulnerability assessment and mitigation, incident response, risk assessments and forensics and eDiscovery services. She successfully built an Information Security Consulting and Managed Services Practice including over 100+ security service offerings by promoting synergies and oversight of information security within a global organization with over $105 Billion in revenue.
Ms. Giovanni has provided her Enterprise Risk Management expertise to a variety of public organizations and private firms during her career. She has worked many Federal and Defense Agency contracts directly, providing her expertise to the Department of Defense, Department of Treasury, Internal Revenue Service, U.S. Navy Strategic Systems Programs Office, and the National Guard Bureau, as well as major commercial companies including as UNISYS, Lockheed Martin, MCI, KPMG, Sprint and Northern Telecom, to name but a few.
Ms. Giovanni is a native of Michigan, where she attended University of Michigan and the University of Detroit and earned her Bachelor’s Degree. Ms. Giovanni is also a graduate of George Washington University.
