Jim Craner is a founder and managing partner of the Chicago Technology Cooperative, an organization that uses Drupal and other open source software to build websites and applications for nonprofit and community organizations. After spending several years as a technology consultant and trainer in the for-profit world, Jim joined the Americorps VISTA program in 2001 and spent a year working on technology projects with nonprofit organizations in low-income neighborhoods of Chicago. He's been working primarily with nonprofits ever since, as a circuit rider, independent consultant, and now as a manager at CTC. Jim lives in Chicago, IL.
