Is there a camping in Szeged?

Hi everyone. This is a question for the organizers :

We're two people from Paris and Lujbljana, coming from Lubj to Szeged in a truck, and we'd like to find a camping in the city.

I found this page

but the only website in english is the one of the nudist camp, wich seems nice but also a bit far from Szeged, right ?

The word 'camping' does not return any answer in the drupalcon website, so I thought I could ask :)

So any info on camping around Szeged? What do you recommend? We plan to sleep in the full equiped truck, but a litle comfort and ambiance is good to take to.

We'll appreciate any suggestion, and we're eager to be there.

There is a very nice camping in the city center, but it will be full with party people for the SZIN festival...

thank you very much. it's pretty much the list I had.

For the camping in the center, do you mean is't already fully booked and there is not a chance at all to book a spot in it ?

The SZIN festival "takes over" that camping, so if you intend to park there, you will need weekly tickets for the festival as well as go under some festival security inspection when going in. It is better to talk to festival organizers if you itend to do so to ensure your truck will be allowed in.

Nice advice Gábor. I have spoken to a man called Zoltan and who seems to be organizing the festival. His phone number number is +36 30 678 34 29 and his email is panczazoli@ih.szegedvaros.hu .

We booked spots on the festival camping for almost nothing (1 euros a day), and of course we bought tickets for the full festival. Full tickets are 32€. We don't knwo if we will have time to enjoy the festival, but the solution is still quite afordable for us and anyway we're glad to support the festival.

It seems the camp is right there in the center of the city, so I guess it is the better solution for us.

At this time, the camping is not full so anyone can do the same.

There is another Camping in Szeged apparently :

I called them, they said they are within Szeged, and the daily fee for a camping car and 2 people will be around 20 euros. They also said that even if there is a festival and a convention running at the same time, ther's no need to book... and they don't take any reservation. They said hotels and bungalows are fully-fullfull but the camping is large enough to absorb anything. (hard to trust :)

camp site can't be accessed by car or camping car

So we're still looking for the best solution
