Whats the best way coming in from Vienna

Myself and a friend are flying in from Qatar to Vienna as it seems to be the cheapest and most convenient in terms of flight timings. Whats the best way from Vienna to Szeged?

We arrive in Vienna 1:20 PM on the 26th.
Leaving 11:50 AM on the 31st from Vienna.

You should fill in your vehicle sharing details (look into your bio and http://szeged2008.drupalcon.org/attendees/travel-sharing), and take some time to look for other people coming from Vienna who have a car.

If that does not work out, trains from Vienna to Budapest take three hours, and are quite nice (I've taken that a few times before). See the timetable at: http://elvira.mav-start.hu/elvira.dll/xslms/index?language=2

Book the train?

Should I book the train in advance? If so, how? Or is it ok to just come to the railway station and buy the ticket there?

Another question: should I take the train from Vienna to Budapest and then to Szeged, or is there a better way of getting from Budapest to Szeged?

Just show up and buy a ticket at the station. Coming from Vienna, just go to Budapest and transfer to Szeged. There is no better direct train I know of.
