The Trip there and when the conference starts...

We are traveling from London. Hope someone can help with these questions...

I am guessing the conference starts early (10am'ish?) on the 27th so we are best to travel to Szeged on the 26th?

How long is the train ride to Szeged from the Airport in Budapest?

Budapest is the best airport to arrive at?

There are three of us and we would love to stay at the Hunguest Hotel Forras or the Novotel or similar but I can't select 3 beds. I called Novotel and they said they can do 3 beds to a room but they are fully booked (I am guessing partly DrupalCon). Any three star accomm for 3 people?

Thanks... MP

early start

The conference registration will start early, and you will need a conference pass to get to the session rooms. The actual first session would start at 9am in our plans (10am would not be early :). So yes, you are best to arrive the day before.

The train goes a little bit longer then 2 hours: http://elvira.mav-start.hu/elvira.dll/xslms/uf?i=Ferihegy&e=Szeged&langu...

I'd say Budapest is your best bet, since it is better connected to Szeged then any other airport.

Indeed, we pre-booked hundreds of rooms, so our search interface should help you find any 3 bed rooms which we still have available. You might be able to negotiate a 3 bed modification to a 2 bed offering from Novotel through our "registration issues" contact form with our C&T representative, but I cannot say for sure. It is worth a try though.

Thanks

Thanks Gábor - will do.

One last question about the 'registration issues' form - where is that? Will it be presented when I select accommodation?

Thanks for the update.

contact form

I wrote *our "registration issues" contact form*, so use http://szeged2008.drupalcon.org/contact and select registration issues from the dropdown or go to http://szeged2008.drupalcon.org/contact/registrationissues which does just that.

Ignore that

Found it under Contact of course.
